Born in crisis.
Built on collaboration.
Alma Lighting started in 2020 during a time when everything was uncertain. Anna Kadurina had been working in lighting design for years but found herself needing to start fresh, fast, and on her own terms.
What began as a one-person studio quickly grew into something more intentional: a small, international team of designers who share a belief that lighting should be considered from the very beginning of a project, not added as an afterthought.
The name Alma comes from Almaty, Anna's home city in Kazakhstan, where the word means "apple." In Spanish and Italian, it means "soul." Both feel right for a studio built on personal connection and creative integrity.
Today the team works across Dubai, Singapore, and Oslo, bringing projects to life in Asia, Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
